Sermon Discussion Questions:

  • How was patience/long suffering described?

  • What does it mean to forbear?

  • How is our forgiveness in Christ supposed to effect how we treat each other?

  • What did we learn about forgiving others?

  • When would you "cover over" in love and when would you go to someone and point out their offense?

  • What about those big, hurtful sins, when you don't want to forgive but rather "hold on" to your anger?
