The Lord Jesus Christ Is Coming Back: "The Day" and it's meaning for Today

Christians today tend to focus their concerns on experiencing God here and now and someday dying and going to heaven.  In the Bible those concerns were real but they had another dominant focus:  an excited anticipation of the return of Jesus to rule, reign, judge and bring the consummation of the Kingdom.  This "Blessed Hope" (as they called it) brought many practical implications to how they viewed and lived life.  Many of these implications we need to recover and experience today.
